Mohammad has a long standing career in the fields of immigration, asylum, nationality and human rights law. He was qualified as a Solicitor of Supreme Court in June 1999. He has wide ranged experience in all aspect of asylum and immigration law. He has worked in his areas of expertise for the last 20 years in various capacities including legal clerk, advocate, interpreter and solicitor.
Mohammad is a highly skilled court advocate who has conducted his own appeals before First-tier and Upper Tribunals in England Wales and Scotland for the last 14 years. He has been appearing before the Tribunals in Birmingham, Bradford, Glasgow, London, Manchester and Newport. He set up his own law firm in 2003 and continued to work as a Sole Practitioner until 2009.
Mohammad is also a member of the Management Committee and treasurer of the International Association of People Lawyer (IAPL). He was the Chairman of Iranian Community Centre for more than 10 years. He also acted as special fund raiser for the Medical Foundation for the Care of Victim of Torture in 1990s.
